Baptism

July 19 - July 20

Ready to take the next step of obedience publicly, sharing your faith in Jesus Christ by baptism? If yes, please let us know by registering below.

Water baptism portrays important scriptural realities. It proclaims Christ’s death and resurrection. It serves public notice to the world of one’s new life in Christ. It pictures a believer’s death to sin, resurrection to spiritual life, and a new way of living through the power of the Holy Spirit. Baptism does not save, yet every believe, serious in his or her faith, should also be serious about baptism. The command of Scripture is “be baptized.” By it, we both please the Lord and declare His reality in our lives and to the world.

Mt. 10:32, 28:19-20; Rom. 6:3-7, 10-11; 1 Cor. 15:1-4

We will be celebrating baptisms in the services, after the message, using video testimonies that we will record in advance.
If you are interested in being baptized, please register by July 14th, and we will schedule a time to record your testimony.

Has your child expressed interest in getting baptized?  If so, we would like you and your child to join us for our next baptism class on Sunday, July 20th at 12:15 PM.  This is an opportunity for us to walk through what baptism means and answer any questions you and your child might have.  Sign up:  Children’s | Mountain Baptism Class
